Hi, I'm Madeleine - a textile artist/maker who also takes photographs and writes stories. Most of my work has its roots in science, maths or science fiction. The name Knot Unktnot has a specific mathematical meaning but it also reflects a lot of what happens in the studio!

EVENTS
I'm taking part in these autumn events in Edinburgh.

• Collective Gallery Gala Day, 05 September - a fun day out on Calton Hill with contemporary art, tours, performances and stalls.
• Unconformities, 03, 04, 10, 11 October - An exhibition of my latest work at the Coburg House Gallery. Expect aperiodic tiles, computational kimonos and a celebration of James Hutton's 300th birthday.
